Tom Brady is making the most of his retirement!

Brady, who is 45 years old, shared a touching video on social media in which he reminisced about a day spent at the beach with his family, friends, and former football colleagues Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman, as well as his son Jack, who is 15 years old.

The former NFL quarterback expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to celebrate “such an amazing life on and off the field with friends and family” on Instagram. “Grateful to have the chance to do so.”

In the accompanying caption, he said, “Even more grateful to get through 30 minutes of beach football with no serious injuries.”

In the video, Tom Brady and some of his NFL buddies are shown playing golf and football on the beach. This is followed by huge pictures of the party attendees dancing and honoring the career of the renowned player on the field.

In a video message addressed to the camera, Gronkowski congratulated Tom on his retirement and stated, “Man, congrats to Tom on retiring.” “Man, you are a really unique individual. I am grateful to you for everything. “I appreciate you teaching me the ropes,” he said afterward.

At an “unofficial retirement party” hosted by Brady’s NFT company, Autograph in Tampa, Florida last month, the NFL star stated that his devotion to his three children, Vivian Lake, 10, Benjamin Rein, 13, and Jack, whom he shares with ex-wife Bridget Moynahan, cannot be topped by his love for the sport. Vivian Lake and Benjamin Rein are his children with ex-wife Gisele Bundchen, 42, and Jack is his child with Bridget Moynahan.

“There is nothing I love more than football, but I have young children,” Tom Brady stated. “They have watched enough of their dad’s games, and it’s time for me to watch their games,” he added. “It’s time for me to watch their games.”

And just a few hours before he announced his retirement from the National Football League in February, he walked the red carpet for the Los Angeles premiere of 80 For Brady and chatted with PEOPLE about the making of the documentary. He also relived his 2017 championship run with the New England Patriots.

“I was pretty emotional through it,” he stated at the time. “I was pretty emotional throughout it.” “It was a wonderful season, and the opportunity to watch it with my children was the highlight of the whole thing.”

He continued by saying, “Man, your kids teach you so much,” as he expressed his admiration for his children. They are the most significant gift in my life because they allow me to grow via new experiences that I share with them.
