For more than five months Ukrainians have been defending their country. As you may have noticed, not all military personnel are male. Ukrainian women also went to defend their homeland. One of them is called “Lara Croft”.
Today we will tell you about 23-year-old Alexandra and find out what prompted her to go to the front.

Alexandra, 23, began preparing for Ukraine’s war against Russia three years ago. “I studied for a long time, and in some perverse way, I was waiting for this moment. The sooner we start, the sooner we finish,” said our Lara Croft. As a result, she entrusted her pet to a friend and joined her comrades on February 28th.
By the way, it is not surprising that she is compared with the heroine of Angelina Jolie. After all, this is the first image that comes to mind when looking at photographs of the 23-year-old member of the medical battalion. Moreover, the features of the Ukrainian woman resemble those of a Hollywood actress.
Interestingly, Alexandra is listed as a shooter. However, according to Alexandra herself, the scope of her activities is much wider. For example, she can perform both medical and administrative tasks. After all, the 23-year-old Ukrainian woman has a lot of specific knowledge and skills, as she herself admits.
Indeed, Alexandra risks her life every day to fight for the independence and freedom of her country, despite all the harsh conditions, not because comfort is often lacking. “I don’t care. This is war. We must be ready for anything. The only difficulty is worrying about my mother and the death of friends, ”the Ukrainian woman regrets.
But at the same time, her friends, whom the Ukrainian Lara Croft calls “treasures”, surprise her and give her hope for a better future. After all, as Alexandra admits, she returns to the front even after being seriously wounded. One of her friends, for example, works every day so that her husband can buy and wear a body armor during the shelling of Nikolaev.
In addition, one of our Ukrainian comrades takes cats from the battlefield and looks for a family for them. “Our people are like that. And these are the faces of Ukraine. They are our best and strongest future,” says 23-year-old Ukrainian Lara Croft. And the young citizens of the country do not disappoint her. Because the future of a sovereign state and its centuries-old legacy depend on them.
“Nothing breaks my heart like the Ukrainian children who are dying and suffering in this war. When I see these children cry, my heart breaks. And nothing else destroys like this from the inside. We must do everything so that our children live in a peaceful paradise, in a free and independent Ukraine, so that they love this life and know the war only in history books,” Alexandra is convinced.
And of course, 23-year-old Ukrainian Lara Croft is convinced that Ukraine has a great future in many areas. But that doesn’t mean we should sit back and wait. There are still many difficulties and conflicts. We must not forget that the only thing we can get easily and for free is slavery. Therefore, it is likely that there will be more attempts to deprive Ukraine of independence.
