Because the prom is one of those once-in-a-lifetime events, a lot of high school freshman start getting excited about it as soon as they step foot on campus for the first time.

Nonetheless, there are some people who are unable to attend their senior prom for a variety of different reasons.

The senior year of high school at Watford City High School in Watford City, North Dakota, Dakota Wollan decided that he did not want to attend his prom.

Even though he was in a position to inquire with any of his peers, he did not feel compelled to do so.

Yet, after that, his father gave him a suggestion that turned out to be really good.

Great-grandmother Dakota was the one who was questioned by Dakota.

The high school senior who was considering making an offer on his great-grandmother, who is 92 years old, thought it was a wonderful idea and began to formulate his proposal.

«She had a Ford from 1985 that she gave to me, and I was able to get it functioning again after she had given it to me. Thus, I developed a sign with that car in mind,» he explained to KFYR.

In spite of having asked a member of his family, he reported that he was still «extremely frightened.»

It turned out that he did not need to be concerned about anything because Madeline Miller was really happy.

She said, «Before to this, I had never attended a prom.»

Madeline responded, «I was simply wondering why he would want a 92-year-old woman to come to prom with him when there are so many young females in the school.»

Dakota didn’t care about his great-age grandmother’s because, according to him, neither he nor his great-grandmother would have been able to attend their respective first proms if it hadn’t been for his great-grandmother.

Both of them were extremely popular during the senior prom held at Watford City High School.

Dakota expressed her feelings to the group by saying, «We got out on the floor, and everyone just went crazy.»

This was such a generous and considerate act on your part! When I heard that the great-grandson and the great-grandmother both had a fantastic time at the prom, it made my heart leap with delight.
