US cosmetics brand Benefit Cosmetics has chosen 20-year-old Kate Grant with Down syndrome to promote its eyeliner.
The girl has previously won the international beauty competition Ultimate Beauty Of The World in the teenage category. And at Belfast Fashion Week, Kate advertised clothes.
Deirdre Grant, Kate’s mum, said she was proud of her daughter’s achievements. “Kate is paving the way for people with all kinds of disabilities. She wants to show that people with disabilities can achieve their goals and integrate into society,” she said.
