Two brothers from Florida, Aaron Brown and William Wilkerson, decided one evening to walk around the family farm to check that everything was in order. The check was not free.
A rather large Burmese python had snuck onto the property. Despite their calm nature, Burmese pythons are predatory animals.
The giant python was first noticed by Aaron, who immediately called his brother for help.
Later, the brothers found that the enormous size of the snake, which weighed around 300 pounds and was almost five meters long, was not the most serious. The farmers brought in an experienced snake hunter.
Dustin Crum, who examined the individual and reported that it contained approximately 100 eggs.
Their population has greatly increased and must be reduced. If the Burmese python population does not decrease, it will exterminate most other animals in Florida.
