Paramedics were called after a woman collapsed while walking her puppy. Doctors, impressed with the pup’s dedication and tenacity, made an exception and let the golden retriever ride in the ambulance with his handler.
When the woman lost consciousness, the pup, visibly worried because her mistress was not moving, ran in circles waiting for help. The video shows the woman lying motionless on the ground, while her trusty pup remains by her side, not moving an inch.
Some also saw the pup clinging desperately to the stretcher on which its owner was carried to the ambulance. And when they weren’t on their way to the hospital, the puppy would sit quietly in the doorway for a long time, waiting for his wife. When the woman regained consciousness, the first thing she said was the name of her beloved pup.
The doctors were surprised at how happy they were to see her. They realized they had made the right choice in letting the puppy travel with her. Fortunately, the woman recovered.
“When we approached the woman lying on the ground, the dog seemed happy that we had come to help her owner,” the doctors said. I agree that sometimes animals can be much better friends than people.
